About Us

The CPP Calculator is a tool developed by David Field, CFP®, TEP and Doug Runchey to help Canadians determine the best time to start their CPP retirement pension. The first step to make this decision is the determine accurately what your Canada Pension Plan retirement pension will be.

The CPP Calculator takes detailed information about you—including your birth month and year, history of CPP contributions, expected future contributions, and details about your children (if you have them)—and provides an accurate calculation of what your benefit will be in current year dollars at various ages.

The CPP Calculator service is part of Papyrus Planning—an advice-only financial planning provider based in Oakville, Ontario.
